He's good, but not so much against fast oppenents..

True, he might not be so great against fast enemies, but keep in mind he has great defence, meaning he can withstand many attacks. Fast enemies may attack him one after another, but if you build Gaara well, he could still be standing.

And if you've got Hinata as backup to heal him he's nothing but a tank.

Gaara and Hinata are on my defensive teams 99,9% of the time. Ino is getting there too. My 4th pick is always between Temari/3rd Hokage/Anbu or some other novelty guy who usually i just take off after 1 or 3 tries on wi-fi
