There are always stereotypes with similar things. Some people who play WoW are huge nerds with no lives and live with their parents. Some others just play for craps n giggles. No one really knows everyone who plays WoW so how can you generalize everyone as super geeky?

I play WoW, and i'm a nerd. and i live with my parents(i'm 14). i also play for craps and giggles, because games are no fun if they are taken super serious. besides kids, most of those stereotypes are not true,. i know numerous adults who play, but they have a life, jobs, girlfriend/wife/kids, and still have plenty of time for WoW. World of warcraft doesnt take as nearly as much free time as most people are led to believe, its just that a lot of people who play play all the time.

yeah, and there are over 14 million who play, they cannot say it is not cool to play it
