I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that the both of you are teenage girls.

Taking that into account, one should note that you have not matured entirely yet. Which is why I would not recommend plastic surgery to either of you, because the physical repercussions of such a surgery could be disastrous. Which is also why few credible plastic surgeons would ever operate on you, whether you willed it or no (teenagers and their horomones tend to lead to them making irrational decisions, which is why minors can legally disafirm any contract, and why the legal decisions of teenagers never seem to be taken seriously).

Those things which you dislike about yourself will either fix themselves in due time, or you will come to terms with them. If anything, if they aren't "fixed", then you will most likely come to terms with them anyway.

As long as none of them are life threatening, I don't recommend trying to do anything about them just yet. Or at all.

Unless you got a professional make up artist and 3 hours to waste in a make up chair...it's probably not going to help that much.

Well, either way, I really like makeup. Love it, in fact. And I'm not going to stop just because other people wouldn't like it/are opposed to it. And besides: if makeup is done correctly, it should look good. I've had a couple years of makeup use under my belt, so I'm pretty good at now.

Using make up is an empty practice because the person you attract doesn't like you. They like what the make up has done to you.

I can understand some cosmetic usage like lip gloss, eye liner, and maybe maskera...but I don't think some plastic surgery should be done. If its because your have a deformed body and have a chance to have a "normal" body then yes, go for it. But when you already had 5+ surgeries dealing with boob jobs, cheek implants, nose jobs, or any other form of "changing" your body, I don't think you should do it.

I don't think the concern about plastic surgery is to address people who might need it. The concern stems from a beautiful woman altering themselves needlessly because of outside influences.

Couldn't you say the same thing about bras then? Bras have padding and wire to shape and make boobs look fuller/bigger, sort falls under the same thing as make-up. You're enhancing and changing your appearance with the aid of something that was not god given.

I always viewed bras like undergarmets. Not necessarily required,but they don't do as much as make up would.

what about the whole argument that makeup is a form of self expression? That wearing makeup and experimenting with various lipstick colors and eyeshadow shades is just another way of showing an artistic side?

Are we talking about make up used in plays and monster movies, or the kind you wear before going out?While I am not saying a little is horrible,but as it stands. I believe the woman using Make up is trying to hide undesireable features.

What about things that aren't plastic surgery but aim for the same things plastic surgery might on a lesser scale, like say, lip plumpers? Instead of getting collagen injecting into your lips you use a lip plumper to make your lips look fuller, does that fall under the same category then?

Using anything to alter your looks creates an illusion. While I am not saying something like eye liner or basic things like fixing your hair is bad. I simply find the need to alter your looks unneccessary like Mrsticky.
