Hinata Hyuga - Episode 166 (Spoiler Caution)

This message is for all the writers and developers of Naruto Shippuden. As well as all the loyal fans out there.

I'm really upset and may very well be disappointed with Episode 166, although it was very beautiful and conveyed an amazing message of honor and love. I have always thought of Hinata as a crucial main character, even if she hasn't been focused on lately.

If Hinata dies, you may very well lose a lot of devoted viewers. Many characters have already died and should have fueled Naruto to become greater, but Hinata is an interrogate character and should survive anything, due to the sole reason that every great story has a love story with in it. And in order to make Naruto Shippuden truly epic, you need Hinata to survive and have Naruto finally acknowledge Hinata for all that she is.

Hinata Hyuga should be the driving force behind Naruto's passion, not in death, but alive and well. She is truly his counter-part in every single way, she is soft, focused, and quiet - while Naruto is loud, impulsive, and very outgoing. If you've followed the whole story, then you know as well as I do that they compliment each other in many ways.

I strongly believe myself to be part of the Naruto story. I have followed it and have experienced all the episodes as we all have, and my strong opinion is for her to survive no matter what.

I feel exactly the same!! folks..if you really want to know if a certain character has died or not then catch up with the manga...it doesn't hurt just to get that wee bit of information out of it...would save you from all that sadness...trust me!! I know it's good to see everything in the anime but manga is far ahead in the story and is the original stuff (they do add a lot of extra stuff in the anime....)..in manga Pain hardly says anything to Hinata....n all the stuff hinata remembers about when she was little n naruto same to her aid...i don't think it was in manga....well atleast i don't recall...

I agree completely. Hinata may be the only character un-important enough to rival the un-importantness that is Ino. Her role in the pain arc is the only thing she's done. Like, ever. Teuchi's Importantness > Ino's and Hinata's combined.

1st. Kishimoto is the author of the manga, he controls what happens to the characters, so this should be adressed to him since the anime is based off the manga.
