The path of perfection is a path that will only lead to the destruction of your true self. To acquire perfection, a person has to be someone that everyone likes and hates at the same time. Perfection only leads to suffering for you and your friends.

I think whether or not perfection exists is up to the person. A person, for example, could interpret another person as being "perfect" and having no flaws, when in reality, they might to another person. It all depends on how you look at things, honestly.

I mean, people think that God is perfect. Anyway, really, in all honestly, no, I do not believe that perfection exists, but it can in a persons MIND who perceives whatever it is as "perfection."

There is no perfect. If someone was perfect then they would be snobish and all from not learning from there mistakes. Even if they are perfect.. they will be snobish.. which is not perfect

In most debates like these, you'll want to know how a certain word is defined before giving a straight answer. However I agree with thunderspirit, good will not exist if there was no evil. A super hero wouldn't be a super hero without any super villains or um robber villains. You need a balance of both peace and chaos.

.... Does Perfect exist? Christians(etc. etc.) believe that their god is perfect. Pagans(etc. etc.) at the end of circles say, "in perfect love & perfect trust." Perfect is something we can only dream to achieve, a word that we cannot reach, and often use in exaggeration when we speak. Example:

"Woah, man, that was the perfect wave," says one surfer to the other.

---

Saying that the Universe was designed perfectly indicates that it was created, and something perfect would have to be created by another perfect thing, i.e "god" or some other term.
Perfect in a human? Not good. They wouldn't be human otherwise!
In living things there are always flaws, even in non-living things. Nothing is ever perfect. Ever. There are too many judgements passed. Too many indeed for anything, let alone the universe to be perfect.
You may have your opinions, that is all good and fine, but this is the solid conclusion I have come to. If you have any evidence that isn't religious and questions my statements, please, by all means, throw them at me! (I can't guarantee an answer but I shall try!! )

If you mean is there such a thing as perfection in the world, then yes there is. If your given a math test and you get all the answers right, you get a perfect score. No questions, no doubts.

If you mean can any living thing in this universe be perfect, your answer is no. Nobody is perfect, we're not gods. To be perfect you'd need to have no flaws at anything, and that's impossible. If you were, you'd be superhuman (and immortal, like konan said).

If I were perfect I'd hate it, because there'd be nothing left (like everyone has said so far). But I'm not against people striving for perfection because it gives them a goal. It's a goal they'll probably never reach, but it's a goal lol. I don't try to be a completely perfect person, because I know that's impossible, like most other people do. I don't think people try to be "perfect", they try to be the best people they can be. They just use the word perfection in the wrong context, like calling something stupid when it's an inanimate object and has no level of intelligence because it's not alive.

Perfection is already in the grasp of the person who walks on water. Anyway, that means, you're not perfect unless you've walked on water, a feat which only Jesus has done, him being perfect and all. Therefore, him being perfect and all means he is good.
