I liked Wind Waker too. I may have said I didn't like the cartoon kind of style, but I think that the cel shaded graphics themselves were great and it's definitely one of the best zelda games overall. I don't judge a game based on graphics or graphics style alone like some other people do.

I basically agree with Maikeru. I think it's great that they decided to combine the graphic styles of WW and TP for Skyward Sword, but what I'm really looking forward to is the wii motion plus controls and what the dungeons will be like.

I'm gonna make a prediction right now:

There will be a Water dungeon and it will once again be the most hated one in the game. To everyone but me of course. I love the Water dungeons, especially OoT's one.

I was scared for second when I went back to the article because it was updated saying that nintendo had removed all the images from their servers, so I thought that maybe OoT may have been just a tech demo for the 3DS. But a second update has given me hope that we may still get it.

Here, how about you just read the 2 updates yourselves and see:

"4:27 Update: Nintendo's pulled the six screenshots from its servers since this story first went live a few hours ago, and a variety of explanations for them are now floating around the 'Net. Continue to take this one with a grain of salt, true believers -- remember, it's not officially confirmed yet. I've added a question mark to the article title to better emphasize that uncertainty, but let's hope the Big N comes out with an official yes soon.

5:45 Update: In a closed door, developers roundtable hosted by Nintendo, a non-playable demo of Ocarina of Time for the 3DS was on display."

Hopefully that non-playable demo means that it really will be a full game eventually.

Nintendo has just confirmed themselves that this will be an OoT remake and not just a tech demo!! Now that it's official we can start to look forward to the actual game.

Here's the update right here straight from ign.com:

"6:15 Update: Nintendo confirms! It's not just a tech demo, friends, as the Big N has given official word that this is the real deal. Here's the buzz from Nintendo of America's official Twitter feed:

I agree. Best room in the game. Although the atmosphere of the room doesn't match the mini boss. I feel that Dark Link was not strong enough the match the awesomeness of the room.

Oh...my...goodness... I hated the water dungeon because it was so repetitive. Especially when you don't know where you are going for half the dungeon. But, the structure and enemies are just amazing and awe-inspiring. Thanks everyone. You have all fueled me to start playing OOT again and beat it until the very end! (I'm at the Well). EDIT: Sorry about the double post... I found this quote shortly after the previous one.

I highly recommend that you do finish it, it's one of the best games out there. I've played it so many times that I've got the entire game memorized from start to finish. If you ever want any help with a dungeon then I'll gladly help you out.

Hah, thanks! I never understood how you beat these Zelda games! They are just so...thorough and lengthy. I remember when I first got Majora's Mask, I was about...7 or 8 and I could never turn back to regular Link! I could never figure out how! So, for about 5 years, I was stuck in the town until I finally figured out what to do! Now, since having these troubles in the past, I will confess that I have used a walkthrough at a few points in the game... Not like step for step though. Just memorize a single part and go from there. One part where I used the walkthrough countless times was the Water Temple... I probably spent a good...5 hours on the Water Temple because I didn't know where to go and did circles several hundred times. It's still a great game even if it is impossible to beat.

Update:
I have a new bit of info for anyone who might be interested. It seems that there's going to be a major change with the OoT remake concerning the Water Temple that many of you may enjoy if you played the original.

At the E3 developer conference yesterday, Miyamoto mentioned how people had felt frustrated with the fact that you had to be constantly switching to the iron boots throughout the Water Temple. Miyamoto then stated that since the remake will be on the 3DS it will take advantage of the touch screen to make the iron boots far easier to use in order to make the Water Temple more streamlined.

I'm really glad to hear this because the iron boots were the only complaint I had about the original water temple.

That is just so awesome. I can't wait. Nintendo's done a great job this year. It feels like they've really brought back the gems from the SNES-N64 era with Golden Sun, Donkey Kong, Zelda Remake etc. It feels like the good ol' days.
