What are you talking about, Shippuden Gaara roflstomps Early Shippuden Naruto. Sand Tsunami much? Honestly, Gaara can simply fly out of Naruto's range and spam huge sand attacks. Naruto can't do anything to stop him.

No, just no. Kakashi>Naruto at the time, but Kakashi is not Gaara's level at that early in the series. Gaara can easily fly out of range and spam sand attacks, Kakashi's only good attack for long range is what, the inaccurate, difficult to use at the time, Kamui? Maybe if we were talking current Kakashi, but Gaara roflstomps Kakashi at that time.

Naruto was certainly at least Jonin level, Naruto>Asuma and could put up a good fight against Guy and Kakashi.

Are you kidding me? Do you honestly think that Sakura, Shikamaru, Kiba, Hinata, Lee, Neji, and Tenten could all defeat Gaara one on one? There is no way they can defeat him.

Gaara is definitely worthy of his Kage title.

Nonetheless, Orochimaru is certainly Kage level as well, much more so than Gaara. However, I think you are underrating Gaara's power severely.

If none of them are dead yet, he then knocks the summons over onto the sand (with some clumps of sand) and they sink in. He then Giant Sand Burial's all three of them. GG Oro.

Oro summons Nagato and Jiraiya. GG Gaara.

That or Oro simply uses Hydra. Lol at any of Gaara's attempts to try and top that.

Generally a lot of us refer to Oro's Eight Branches Technique (the thing he used against Itachi's Susanoo, which failed pretty badly but could still do plenty of damage to weaker foes) as Hydra.

Without Edo tensei, Gaara could overpower orochimaru a lot easier. Orochimaru could summon manda, or a gang of his numerous snakes and possibly kill gaara if he couldn't get airbourne.

Essentially, With Edo tensei, orochimaru stomps.
Without it, it's a debateable match up,but kage level Garra with the shukkau would most likely win.
