Obito's Sharingan

In the Kakashi Chronicles, Obito had yet to awaken his Sharingan. In the second episode though he finally awakened it. Did anyone else notice that when it was awakened that Obito started out with two Tomoe instead of one? Anyone have any theories about this?

that's how they all start if you looked at sasuke's he had 2 to.

No they don't. They start out with one, then increase by one as they get more experienced.

It probably just depends on how development it's been through beforehand.

I thought about that too... maybe since it took so long to awaken that it was more advance than normal? Ugh, this is going to bug me lol

Maybe since Sasuke was so young his was premature and he only had one tomoe? Maybe it's normal to start with two?

Yeah pretty much you most likely awaken it at a young age but don't relize it then when you get more experience and awaken your sharingan and get 2 tomoe

My theory why Obito started out with 2

Yes sharingans do develop more tomoes as they go on, I think by the level of need. In the epic battle between Naruto and Sasuke, his sharingan gained a tomoe to have 3 and he could then see the 1 tailed Naruto's speed more, which coincides with the level of need.

It depends on the user of the Sharingan, and what they can do. Sasuke started out with 2 toma's 2, and it's no big deal, no need to look into it. It's nothing to make a theor about, no need for anything really.

It's probaly a Plot-No-Jutsu

Well Kakashi and Rin was 'about to die' and that was really stress full and emotional for Obito hence his Sharingna activated.

First, Sasuke started out with one. They didn't show it until Shippuden because he awakened it the night Itachi slayed the rest of the clan. And why not make a theory about it? It's something I noticed and am questioning it. You never know what it may lead to.

When Sasuke first awakened his Sharingan, it was the night Itachi killed the clan, and he had one tomoe in each eye, but he never knew he had awakened it. Later, in the Haku fight, he reawakened the Sharingan with one tomoe in one eye and two tomoe in the other. When he fought Lee later he had two tomoe in each eye, and his Sharingan fully developed to three tomoe in each eye during the fight with Naruto at the Valley of the End.

It's possible this has something to do with age, but, it's more likely due to the nature of the Sharingan, which is activated in periods of high stress or emotion. When Sasuke first awakened it, he was a mental wreck having just seen Itachi kill his parents. Later, he awakened it due to the fight-or-flight instinct of having to either see Haku move or die from his attacks. Obito awakened it because he felt he was too weak to protect his teammates. He was always being called weak and being told that he was a terrible ninja.

The major flaw in this is that it assumes Obito's stress and emotion then was greater than Sasuke's when he saw his parents killed. So it's very possible that it's a combination of both age and the emotion or stress. This would mean that, with both being the same age, Obito's emotion when he awakened the Sharingan was greater than Sasuke's when he fought Haku, which isn't a bad argument considering at the time Sasuke wasn't in a period of high emotion, just a period of high stress whereas Obito was in a period of high emotion and stress.
