For those who have HeartGold or SoulSilver, you know about the Pokeathlon and have probably participated in it.

What do you think of it?
What are you best records?
What are your favorite/least favorite events?
What are your favorite Pokemon to use?

what I'd like to know is if there is a aprijuice combination that raises all stats, or at least one that raises one, but doesn't hinder other stats

In a word, no. xD Unless there's some Action Replay code or something, but I doubt it.


I love the Pokeathlon. (Although it's nearly impossible to pronounce... xD) Mini games keep the game interesting.
The relay race is definitely my favorite, especially with a team of Electrodes. (One of the fastest poke'mon in the existence. x3) Crobat works well too. My record is over 16 laps.

The only way to have the best bet at not lowering stats is to have your Aprijuice with a high Mildness level, and the max is 255. Also, higher Flavor raises stats more, but it maxes out at 100 Flavor. Mildness goes up around 100 steps or so, and when a day passes by. Not sure if you can cheat it by skipping the time on the DS though. You raise Flavor by adding more Apricorns too it, but if the Flavor chages (Like Green to Pink), then it's Mildness is reset to 0.

Go for Black Aprijuice, but it's usually random, with the title of it (i.e. Speed, Power, etc) being the strongest. Avoid White Apricorns, they are the weakest of all Apricorns.

yea i like it espacially since you can get a rare candy every saturday lol they help speed up mah training the only problem i have is i cant beat the top record for penant capture iv only gotten up to 31 and the record is 35 T_T

Really? I think my record is around 45

But obviously, you need a speedy Pokemon, also one with high Skill since it helps it turn faster...or something. I mostly use Doduo/Dodrio for it. I really, REALLY hate the Snow Throw event. It's so hard, even with max Skill+Power (Meganium ) I can only make around 20 at max. I just barely got lucky with 30. Which is why I'll never get the trophies for Skill.

funny, I did got Black Aprijuice the first time I made some, by mixing all the apricorns I had, but the mildness level was low, and I think it was Stamina Juice

still, in the Jump event, nothing like having Flying types! won thanks to my Ho-Oh, Lugia & Pidgeot
