Voltorb Flip: Love or Hate?

For those who have the Non-Japanese version of of HGSS, you'll know of the Game Corner's slot machine removal and instead having a game called Voltorb Flip.

My question is, do you actually like this new game, or do you hate it?

Personally, I hate it. Especially because the payouts are too low, you can no longer buy coins, and they didn't even bother to lower there prices of the of prizes. It takes way to long to get enough coins to win anything, and if you mess up you lose all of your earned coins. Getting 5-8 coins per game to make sure you win some coins makes it take at least more than an hour or two just to get any prizes. At least with the slot machines you could win 100+ coins even with little skill. Or if you suck at the slots you could've just bought all of the coins you needed.

Hate it, A LOT. I was so disappointed when I went into the Game Corner, and no slots...T.T I literally was like, YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!!! NO SLOTS?!?! Trying to get a good amount of coins is absolutely ridiculous...>.< Besides that, I REALLY hate it when you finally get to like, Lv. 4, and you run into some bad luck and the first panel you flip is a freaking Voltorb, and then it says, "Dropped to Lv. 1"...

I in contrast to most, think it isn't TOO BAD. But i still dislike it. It actually makes you think which is what appealed to me.

Dude....I've just been playing VF for 3 hours...and I don't even have 800 coins yet. Seriously, with the slots I'd already have at least one or two of IceBeam/ThunderBolt/Flamethrower by now, each of which are 10,000 coins. Really, the prices are ridiculous for a game that has such an incredibly low pay AND is based entirely on luck, unlike the slots (It's not hard to get 777

)

Not only that but it's hard for me to make more than 10+ before I mess up, much less get past level 1. And when a good gamer can't get past level one on any game you KNOW something's wrong. The farthest I've gotten was I think lvl 4, but I didn't even win anything.

I swear, if the Eng version of Black&White has the same game or something even crappier, and/or they don't even lower the prices for prizes anything, I'm gonna....

I REALLY hate the parents that caused this, I mean it's REALLY obvious Nintendo/Game Freak got complaints from stupid parents claiming that the Game Corner was gonna cause the 4 year old kids to become gambling addicts. Seriously? It's a game, only an idiot would actually want to game IRL because they did it in POKEMON. Same as an idiot who'd want to smoke cause Shikamaru does

I read somewhere where someone suggested that there were 2 version for sale: One with the original GC and one with the VF. I wish they had done this instead..

i hate it i have 0 coins because i suck at it but like the developers said they had to keep it fresh when they made the remake cuz they really couldent just make a updated copy because that would be boreing

Um....they DID make an updated version of the Slot Machines. It's only in the Japanese version only though.
