the reason why i put naruto shippuuden is because i am talking talking about the older naruto.

Since Naruto has beaten Pain, he can do it again. Plus, with SM, Itachi can't be too much trouble.

And then Naruto's got the 4th on his side too.........essentially, the 4th can give Naruto all of the assistance he needs on this battle. The 4th has blinding speed, so there's no way Pain and Itachi can react quickly enough to dodge both Naruto AND the 4th attacking together.

Pain and Itachi.

Pain could have beaten Naruto who surpassed the 4th hokage.
They just use a combo of Chibaku Tensei, summonins, jutsu absorption, amaterasu, Susano'o, etc.
