When/Why Did You Start Watching Naruto & What Does It Mean To You Now?

i ve known about it for a long time, i used to hate...but then i started watching it early mornings with my bro before school n got hooked... it still has its stupid moments, pointless scenes n filler arcs, and some terrible voice acting now n then, but the lessons are good. how about u?

First episode I seen was on cartoon network, dubbed edition with Zabuza.

the land of waves arc is what got me interested..intense ninja action, non of this latent potential/kekkai genkai/jinchuuriki hax...except sharingan. funny i thought sasuke was so cool...how noob.

started to watch it in early 2007, i totally remember that!! heard about it n' watched it on crunchyroll n' naruto's spirit totally inspired me...i was going thr some tough personal and academic situations n' watching it just like wow, u can still hvae hope in life just dont give up. Now it's like a memory to me, didnt knw some eps are fillers cus i didnt read the manga. Shippuuden didnt hit me as hard as Part 1, its a source of entertainment now and a chance to see/hear kakashi's voice

Um right as when Gaara vs Sasuke chunin exams was starting.

After I was bashing it a lot I keept going back to it and then it suck on to me.

i started from the first episode about 4 years ago. i thought at the beginning that it was a cooking show lol!

but i'm grateful for the hope and the motivation it gave me. it helped me go through difficult period of my life

I heard about the manga from reading the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga but I never really paid much attention to it. Then Cartoon Network starting showing episodes of the original series in the evenings between 5 or 6 and that's when I got hooked. I watched the anime and read the manga, too. I'm still as much into it as I was back then.

My friend watched it, and one Saturday, he was at my house. We were playing Video Games, and he goes "It's 8 O'clock!" and I was like "??" He shut the game off after we saved immediately, and turned on CN. I was lost and thought it was weird, but when he brought the game over, I fell in love with the game, and then the show because of the game xD

I used to dog on this show and didn't even give it a chance, but one day I was playing xbox live and I was tired of hearing all my friends talk about it, and tired of not knowing what Naruto was. So that's when I tuned into Cartoon Network that one awesome summer where they had the 'Naruto Hundo'? or whatever it was when they showed 100 episodes of Naruto. After that I started subscribing to Shonen Jump and I tried to buy all the seasons (I think I stopped at 11) and I have been following it ever since(I think that was two years ago).

I first watched the show on cartoon network's toonami block. I didnt have even the slightest clue what was going on, and at first I thought it was kinda weird. But then my best friend got watching it around the same time as me. Her twin sister subscribed to the sj mag and they asked me had i ever watched it b4. I told them yea, but i didnt understand it. My bf's twin filled me in, and iv been hooked on it like a fish ever since.

i started watching naruto wen it came out on CN and wen it was over, i watched it in sub, then shippuden came out and it goes from there. naruto is like my life, i eat, dream, breathe naruto. xD it is the best manga/anime ever.
