Question about Energy........

I have already discussed this in the Battleground Rules Thread, but someone said I should make a thread of it........


I'm wondering how the energy works in battleground threads. No I'm not new to the battleground, and yeah I have debated some on here. I don't know where exactly to start so I'll just give some examples of what I'm talking about.Some people say Pain(Preta) can't absorb Avatarverse bends because they don't use chakra(example), but others say that Deidara's clay bombs can be disarmed by any lightning-Azula, Static Shock, ect(example)-even if chakra isn't involved with it......

*And NOTE these are just examples too*
For Instance Aang has been able airbend to block a firebend, without the fire getting bigger. So if he fought someone from the Narutoverse would he be able to block fire style, or would it fail and just make the fire style stronger? It doesn't use chakra so it shouldn't, but if the bends are considered the same energy as chakra(same effects and all that) then it would make it stronger.............

I'm just wondering how the whole energy thing works. Does anyone else have any kind of insight on this............?

For certain energy extremes there is a thing called energy equivalence.

Thats because Lightning release techniques as for most of them are lightning chakra transformed into actual lightning so it should.

Preta should be able to absorb the fire since its actually created.

Ok, now lets say someone like Goku. Used a kahmayha(can't spell), would Preta be able to absorb it(since it doesn't give off any poisonous energy-like nature energy did)..........?

The problem with Kamehameha is that we never seen Preta absorb that much. Sort of no limits fallacy.

Yeah, but he still shouldn't since it's stated he can absorb any chakra related ninjutsu or attack, not Kamehameha or energy blasts from other verses.

Deidara doesn't need chakra to discharge clay, anything of the lightning element.

Unless its so blatantly different like Reiatsu or even Nen, Ki not as much. I don't see why it should be so different. Interchangeable somewhat

It all depends on what you personally perfer and thats the problem with the battle grounds match ups such as Goku versus a naruto chaacter. It all depends on what you like and the situation ebcuase there is no one right answer.

Still Ki is different than chakra, sort of no limits fallacy if you say Preta can absorb any type of energy. Did you already say that though? Dunno if it was a different thread.

Preta shown to absorb phyiscal and spiritual energy through a special seal so.

We could assume that he could, that he can absorb almost anything as long as it isn't poisonous or has any kind of side effects. But I guess I see ur point...............

I think Preta should be able to absorb such attacks, attacks that are like energy blasts(attacks u could say) Cause otherwise it doesn't seem like a very fair fight for someone like Preta going up against someone from another verse that uses energy blasts-Since these fights sometimes are taking two people from different verses, there needs to be a source of equality(and the fact that his is a Naruto Forum, it would makes sence that chakra could be used for most matches and if someone already has an energy source then it would still be the same, but it would use chakra effects a little too)..........

Its actually the lightning chakra element that disables it, AKA-its the chakra colliding creating a chain reaction(in this case, the negating of Deidara's clay bombs)-this also goes for the whole Wind style chakra makes Fire style chakra stronger, Lightning style chakra beats Earth style chakra, Wind style chakra makes Water style chakra stronger(or sharper, or ice), ect. So unless People from other verses are getting their energy considered to be something like chakra, then they should't get the same advantages as someone would from the Narutoverse.............
