Why would they wait? - Page 2

look at it this way.

When companys like Honda, Ford, Nissan etc. make new cars they don't ever release them right away because the market it not ready, even though they are energy effiecnt or better on gas, or cheaper to build and they know people will buy them, but if they release them now they would not fly off the shelf then if maybe they release then 5 or 6 years from now when the country is on its knees crying for something better, maybe they are doing that with naruto, just waiting for the pportunity time for a good strike.

Completely agree.

I also think they are trying to get all their sources (like xbox, iTunes, PS3, etc) ready with the original naruto series. Then they can release it all at once in one day and it will be everywhere for us to download. Of course, I'm saying that a release by the end of 2009 would make us really really lucky.

iTunes and DVD's are actually caught up now. Just two volumes to go until they are completed I think.

I'm assuming that the rest need to be caught up as well. Basically I think they are trying to get to a point to where they have nothing left to release before they hit us with Shippuden dub.

I assume this is because they really don't have any official word about when it is going to be released...so they are doing the next best thing: getting ready to release it in as many places as possible as soon as possible.

Either that, or they do know and they are being total d-bags about it...which I really don't think is the case.

The only thing that now needs to be caught up is the episodes on the PSN since VIZ Media just started putting it up there last week.

yeah i agree, but with the dvds on the reg naruto sessions won't be done until the end of the year anyways, so its going as we said.

We are not going to wait for Hulu. Dont they only add one new episode a week!? There are more 209 dubbed episodes, thats 209 weeks, or 4 years!

I think that 4 years would be a max. I think once Viz and whoever make up their minds about an official release date, they will speed up the updates to Hulu accordingly.

They have confirmed it is coming, but I'm not sure where they said it was coming in 2009. Post a link if you have any, or one of the Admins confirm it.

To be honest, even if they put it on CN, until CN remedy's their odd time of showing it, I wont be able to catch it until its on DVD. I virtually imagine that kids, teens, and even college age people sit up late on saturday evenings with the tv on a low setting watching this as their parents and roommates try to sleep. This isnt an enjoyable experience. If they...use a more realistic time and then air it right at the beginning of the school year, then I can guarantee that tons of people will watch it.

They must be waiting for the Fall to air it.
