That sounds like a really good idea. If they did, I'd definitely watch it. His childhood was only briefly touched upon in the anime.

I also ike Iruka, hes a nice,cool,caring kind of guy. He obviously makes a good teacher to be able to teach in the academy, I only wish he was given some feats :/

I've noticed that he hasn't gotten much time in the spotlight lately. I wouldn't say most people have forgotten about him, though. He doesn't seem unique or interesting enough to count as a great character. But he's the least annoying out of all the main characters in Chapter 1.
