Calender Swirls?

My friend bought my sister and I both Naruto calenders for the upcoming year. They look really cool and even have the day of the number in Jappanese and English. While we were looking and the Jappanese numbers we saw that on certain days there are little red swirls on the Jappanese number. We were wondering if anyone knows what the swirls mean. Are they days where Naruto stuff comes out or what?

I don't know. If I could see a picture maybe I could tell, but I'm not sure. Maybe that is what it means... They might be holidays, or important events.

Give a few examples of the dates that are swirled. Maybe then we could figure out what it means.

might be holidays or some sort of special day not sure or could just be naruto related

I know this kind of calendar. I bought this, too. Those swirls tell you that it's the weekend, or it's an event (like Memorial Day).
