Why are the missions so freaking hard???

Did anyone else find the mission list and the story mode ridiculously hard regardless of wht difficulty setting it was on? I can only speak for myself, but I pretty much suck at video games, but I still play and enjoy them, ecspecially this game. I didn't get a Wii untill christmas then got this game the next day, so when I first started playing it the fact that I wasn't used to combinations of movement of the remote and pushing buttons to attack made it pretty challenging. But even after I got used to it, a 2 or maybe a 3 difficulty setting is as high as I can go and still do alright. Then why are alot of the missions and final battles in the story mode so hard on medium difficulty? The worst part is for the missions, it's the B-rank missions that are the hardest (no substitusion, 54 hit combo, and lately secret tech finish). Not being able to substitute is a real pain. You'll make to the tenth battle, then get cought in your opponents combo and there is no way out. I was able to unlock Anbu Kakashi, and to me that was the only point for doing the missions, but at the same time it's kind of a waste because now I have no reason to ever do any missions any more.

Now onto the story mode. It started out easy enough but after only a few fights it gets harder and harder. Thats cool, I still like a challenge and don't want a game to be too simple, but the last few battles are extemely difficult considering the setting is only on 2. The two fights that stick out in my head the most are Granny Chio vs. Sasori, and of course. Kyubi Naruto vs. Deidara.

First off, I don't know about you, but I only have a handle full of characters I like to use regularly, and Chiyo is not one of them. I didnot feel like taking the time to learn all of her combos, and the thing I hate the most about her (and Kankuro) is the particular way they have to use the camera because of the puppets. Not to mention the fact the the puppets move as they attack so they'll be on one side of the screen while I'm getting beat down on the other side and can't figure out how to get the puppets next to me without substituting.

As for Kyubi Naruto vs. Deidara, there's no jacked up camera angles or puppets to complain about, this one is just hard. he just stays far away and sends out some clay bombs. And when you get hit it's never by just one, oh no, you get hit by atleast two or three.

I'm convinced that the only way to come out victorious is to just keep re-trying over and over again untill some how you win, because these guys are just too good at substituting and not getting hit. Plus the only way to win is with a secret tech. so if you miss the first try, you've got to stay alive long enough to build up chakra and try again.

probally because if it wasn't it wouldn't be very fun
but i did find that some of the mission's were very hard

Yeah, some missions are just...evil. But some of them are fun, like the 3-on-1 and the Two-Man Squads, and sometimes the S-Rank Rival one. Well, if you do more missions, then good luck. =D

I agree. 3 on one and two man squads are the best missions. Has anyone been able to complete the 54 hit combo mission. I can't do a single one, even though I haven't tried everyone yet.

i tried it and i failed, but i think hiruko if you do a combo then special works, but i think thats only if yiu have nunchuck mode

Which character needs a 54-hit combo? None of the characters I be need that much...I think. But I've completed Deidara's and Temari's, and I'm working on Sakura's...

o_o Have you seen how many hits Orochimaru needs?

Yeah, Chiyo VS. Sasori was evil in Story Mode...I just spammed her down A.
I did awful in the Kankurou VS. Hiruko fight...terrifying...

I can play as Chiyo now, my sisters say I'm good. ^^ (And I think they're afraid of me...)

The "No Health Recovery" is evil. Just plain evil. All "B"-Ranks are evil. I've never completed the No Health Recovery, still trying though...Even the regular 10 Fights is hard...

But, some are fun. S-Ranks are fun, at least.

I didn't do any of the combo missions for any character. Once in a squad score attack I got a 99 hit combo but i think there was a glitch in the game or I got super lucky. Me and the computer kept switching teammates multiple times and I just kept landing attacks then ended with one of Sasuke's fireball jutsu combos and it just jumped to 99.

Haha. Yeah I totally Spam down A for that Chiyo fight also. I forgot about the Kankuro fight. I suck with the puppet masters and when going up against them because of the camera mostly.

I've never completed a no health recovery either. How are the B-Rank missions?

I agree that the Kyuubi!Naruto/Deidara fight was the most frustrating thing since the Naruto/Kabuto fight in CONR2. Hated. It. And he kept MOCKING ME every time I RESTARTED with his repeat lines DDDX

I hate B-ranks. :\ I've managed to do all of Kakashi's -- and got Jonin on ALL of them, hah -- but I honestly have no idea how to get his combo. ~_~
