Until then, I think it's safe to say for now that Obito is the cause of it. Maybe.

i still think that obito's death wasnt the real cause of teh mangekyo, but whatever. only one person knows the truth and thats kishi

I agree. Obito's death couldn't have been the cause. It was way too long ago. It had to have happened during the two and a half years that we know pretty much nothing about. and besides, when the Kakashi Chronicles starts out, Kakashi doesn't seem to really care too much for Obito. It was only near the end right before he died that he started to care.

BUT, he said that they all died. Obito still lives to this day in the series, and it was the either the sight of Obito faking his death or the Mangekyo awakened at some point when he got his eye.

Um, yeah, I'm pretty sure all Sharingans have different properties depending on the user. Madara can't use Amaterasu. I'm pretty sure Sasuke can't use Tsukiyumi, he uses other types of genjutsu thogh. Kakashi can send them to another dimension or something like that. And the one one in Danzo's eye can control people without them knowing it...all different traits.

i think that kakashi fell into depression once sasuke and naruto left

he really had no one to hang with or anything


so he gathered up all of his lonllyness and lossed and sadness in life and turned it into a mangekyo sharingan


to activate it doesnt someone close to u finally die
so probably rin finally died of narurtos mom

how do u kno madara cant use amaterasu? i think he can otherwise he wudnt have been able to stop the fire when sasuke used amaterasu on him

I don't think we're supposed to no what he did yet. I'm assuming he went to that weird place that he had Sasuke and Karin after the fight with the Raikage, it's like his on little world or dimension or something.

Not really. When Kakashi used his Mangekyo Sharingan on Deidara he blew his arm off, Madara uses a space time jutsu to teleport himself or others, much like Minato only Madara's is supposedly better.

And actually now that I think about it....We have yet to see Madara use his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan at all in the series. Or his regular Sharingan for that matter. The most he used it was when Sasuke looked into it or when he showed it to Kakashi (every time with regular Sharingan), and he didn't even do anything. He stood there will he was in awe.

So everytime he teleports, it might not even be due to his Sharingan. It could just be a Space/Time Jutsu such as Minato's, only more advanced.

I don't know. I wonder who will do it. Naruto, Sasuke or both.

And since Madara's so strong that must mean Naruto and Sasuke will get alot stronger.

I think that the only way the uchihas had found a way top gain the mangekyo was to have a very emotional attack in which he directly cuased so i think its not really that you have to kill your best freind but more the emotion combination triggeres the mangekyou

Oh and about the Madara and amestura Since he can teleport things to another dimension/worl couldn't he have sent the black flames to the other world/dimension

yea he cud but i was surprised to hear that he doesnt have amaterasu, and kakashi hasnt been in any serious emotional trauma since obito died and his mangekyou awakened long after that so i doubt it cud be because of that. but wut im thinkin is that in shippuden episode 142, sasuke remembers the first time he awakened his sharingan, which was shortly after itachi used tsukiyomi on him. now in naruto (part 1), itachi used tsukiyomi on kakashi, which does cause serious trauma to the victim. wut if that had something to do with kakashi awakening his mangekyou sharingan?

Yeah, they do have to feel it. They cant just be heartless and kill their best friend like it's something they do everyday, but instead have to feel horrible about it almost to the point of regret (i guess thats the word i'm looking for). Everytime the Mangekyo Sharingan is spoken of, it's said that killing is the only way, but it has to be a combination of killing and feeling it.
