Not sure. I just know that if he didn't wear a mask, a lot of people would really fall in love with him. Remember in episode 101, when he took off his mask to eat the ramen, Ayame (ramen shop girl) had those hearts on her eyes haha

i agree, i think he`s got a beautiful face and if he ever showed it, every girl would fall in love with him and he would have 2 run away from all the screaming fans!!! lol jk jk maybe it has something with having a resemblance to his father or the main reason, 2 hide his emotions, idk

I think he has a big scar on his face from something in the past.

I know during Episode 101, the ramen people act like his face is amazing or something, but that is filler and i'm not counting it.
