Free constructive criticism

One thing I've noticed about The Fan Forge is that many of the O.C.s posted fall under the Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu category (if you don't know what those are, Wikipedia has some very thorough definitions). And terribly. They're either full of cliches, don't fit in the Naruto universe, are Godmods, or all of the above. To make matters worse, I never see anyone give REAL, honest criticism; nothing beyond "OMG i lurv it!11" That, obviously, doesn't help the author improve.

So, being an avid writer myself, I figured I'd offer constructive criticism to anyone who wanted it on their character and/or fanfiction. While I am completely honest about my opinion, I'm not using this as an excuse to just flame anyone, either. I'd honestly like to help improve the quality of writing anywhere, Internet included (long-shot though that is), and thought I would offer my opinion here instead of commenting on every O.C. I see and risking a backlash from the writer.

Again, this would be real criticism. If I like your stuff, I'll say so; if I find a problem with it, I'll say so. It's not a personal attack on anyone, so if you're very touchy about getting an honest opinion, I probably won't be your best friend.

So if you're interested in getting a real second opinion, feel free to post anything here or link me to anything you have.

XD But it's AU, so really the only way it's related to Hetalia is through the fact that it uses OCs I made for Hetalia. Other than that, there is absolutely no connection.

I don't offer criticism mostly because I just don't care.
Fan-fictions usually bore me. Keyword, "usually" so
I don't bother to look here either. Sometimes curiosity
will get the best of me. If I comment I'm honest but
I try to be tact at the very least. If something is
bad I just bite my tongue unless it really is that
bad. In any way I figured most people here
are just doing it for fun so I let them do that.
I don't like reading much anyhow unless
it's in comic book format anyways.

Oh, I've been on; I just don't really go under the fanfiction area unless it's to check on this thread.
