Why Shippuden wasn't on CN

I was thinking about why CN kicked Naruto out of it's lineup and i got 2 thoughts. The first 1 is what everyone on the forum says CN is a bunch of anime haters. the 2nd one is that they didn't have any money.We all know that a kid immated gaara and killed himself. so the parents sued CN is what i'm guessing. and with them getting sued the economy was bad in the first place so maybe they didn't want Naruto to go away.They just don't have the money to renew the contract with viz

They Also kicked it because of the Low ratings it had, as the last 20 episodes or so were all Filler basically so no-one watched

in the last episodes were cut because CN couldn't either afford the wait or didn't want to.

Well like someone said, most likely due to low ratings because of the fillers no one cared about and something went screwy with CN taking out alot of the anime shows they had. Not to sure if they still show Pokemon or not.

Yeah i definitely agree with the low ratings idea.I'm guessing that the filler wasn't getting watched enough so they cut it down to one episode per week.
And that wasn't being watched enough so they took it totally off.AND IT WAS ONLY LIKE EIGHT EPISODES AWAY FROM SHIPPUDEN!!!!i guess cartoon network just didn't realize how good it was.I mean you have to admit as good as naruto is filler is just awful.

Agreed. The fillers are not all that great. Thats what probably cause Naruto to get low ratings

Yeah, low ratings probably did it. But I still watched right until it got taken off. I guess it depends on how much you really like Naruto in the end, since I'd watch fillers just because it's Naruto! ^^

well what AS did for bleach was 2 new eps a week and naruto was getting that so it was at a nice speed duno why they couldnt hold on a couple more weeks for the last 10 eps they had to play i mean its only a month and a half

All the fillers for origanel Naruto were terrible except the one about the ninja foot race in the land of (I forget) that one was fair.

I did not even get the Filler there was no story to it and the fighting was really
slow and not even big. The ratings for the Filler were bad in Japan to so I don't get why CN did't see the big droop in ratings coming they should have put the show on re runs
tell Shippuden. The rating would have gone down with the Re runs to but not a big droop
like the Filler.

Actually the best filler episode IMO was the one where Team 7 tried to see whats under Kakashi's mask

Low ratings and not enough viewers is most likely what caused it. CN aren't anime haters, they just didn't have the money to keep their shows, so they decided to put on shows that would cost less, resulting in their bad shows. Obviously everyone knows how low the economy is, so that's another one of the reasons it went off.

The fillers bored people, but if CN hung on, the ratings would've shot up with Shippuden. That's one of the worst mistakes any network could've made. Not only would they have gotten popular, but they'd get back the viewers they originally had and gained more money off of it.

Japan knows what fillers are.CN doesn't they thought that no one wanted when they had no idea what fillers were

idk everytime it was on cartoon network i watched it and eventually it wasnt on anymore...... i like it better on cn than disney xd personelly..... i like the fillers though i liked all of it...

Yeah..having three or four fillers isn't too bad. When are 10+ of them, I go nuts. Also low ratings, as many people have said here.
