Posting Links, Images, & Videos!

Hey guys,

I am going to tell you new members or members that don't know the rules about links and images.

Anyway, you guys can post links. But those links cannot lead into any Naruto or Viz-related links. You can get in trouble for that because it is Copyright infringement. And also, you cannot post links that lead into any illegal videos that were taken from Japan or people that were Pirating to get the videos.

NOTE: DO NOT post any fan made images/videos in your signatures, threads, or posts.

Now, most people think that Dragon Ball Z anime is Viz-related. Well, Viz doesn't own Dragon Ball Z anime. Funimation does, so you have nothing to worry about posting Dragon Ball Z, except for if it's from the manga, which Viz does own (edited by Sage Mode).

Now, posting images is a different story. You can post images but it cannot be Naruto or Viz-related. Also, if you have an image that isn't related to Viz or Naruto, then your in the clear. But there's a catch. You have to ask one of the Mods/Admins permission to post images or show them.

But they can't because of the lock down that's still occurring.

Its sad that stuff like this has to be posted for people to read them. They make you read this stuff before you sign up for the forums.

Hmm so the video in my sig is sort of not allowed..and sort of is allowed then? Thats confusing...

But just in case they need to know instead of not reading the rules and wasting there time. That's how ended up in trouble. But now I know the rules, and I am here to help.

its not about the anime part, its more if they are Viz's property

Well, the Bleach insignia is in the video, as well as a chick's picture in the end. (Sorry, I don't know the characters well.)

I'm not sure about the openings either, as most of the time they aren't directly owned by viz. That's why you can post songs that are in Naruto openings. (Still no Naruto, though.)

We may need an admin to clarify this one.

Yeah, I just looked at the things owned by viz and bleach anime isn't one of them I don't think.

However, the anime is based off of the manga so I'm not sure either.

Actually from seconds 2 to 8 there was a splash screen with the bleach logo (copyright) which was presented by a fansubbing group. The fansubbing image is the main reason I did not reverse the infractions.
