Ultimate Ninja 4: Naruto Shippuden has a larger character selection and it also has the yellow flash...but it does not have before battle customization.

My favorites are Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2, Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 and Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen! 4.

Path of the Ninja 2 was an RPG with multiple characters, Wi-Fi, and an enjoyable combat system and extra story. Going to the gameFAQS board and playing Wi-Fi with people from it was really enjoyable and gave me an idea about which characters were good and what each character's advantages were. Revo. 3 is a good fighter for the Wii with a variety of characters, good combat system like the other CoN's, a balanced roster, and Wi-Fi. GNT 4 was the best Pre Skip Naruto game, with a lot of characters, the Sound 5, and a lot of people that Revo. and Revo. 2 missed. Revolution 2 is a good game as well, but I enjoyed GNT 4 better.

I enjoy the UN games as well, but imo the CoN series is better, it seems like CoN has a better combat system and each character has a different set of combos, while UN games keep the same button inputs for combos.

I haven't played Storm or the 360 games, nor have I played any of the Shippuden UN's, so I'm not sure what I think is really the "best", but my most enjoyable games were CoNR2, GNT4, and PotN2.
