good point. but...what if itachi got a girlfriend after the uchiha massacre and had a baby then? i mean madara never said that he killed her specifically on that night did he? maybe he came back to the leaf later and killed her or something. it's not like we know explicitly every single thing itachi did for those ten years he was traveling. sooo what if he killed her at a different time? he would be older, as would she, and thus more likely to produce an heir--if indeed age is the factor that made my earlier theory implausible.

Yea, that suprised me a bit. Itachi didn't seem like the type at all to have a lover. He seemed way too busy for stuff like that. Having a lover would take up his time and I figured he spent all of it training.

yeah--almost like he would be too busy for normal teen things like dating. i thought he would be too serious for stuff like that haha

Yeah, I saw that. Madara says "his lover, his mother, his father..."
He dosent say his lover; his mother and father
If he said it that way, he would have meant that his lovers were his mother and father, but he sepertated them all, so Itachi must have had a girlfriend.

Then he would've had two girlfriends since one died the night of the Uchiha massacre.

yeah i know. if she was in the clan, i don't remember them ever showing any other uchiha children other than sasuke, itachi, and obito.. i guess because it would be too sad to know that they get massacred..

As we know, Kishimoto has always been rather secretive with the love lives, but my guess is (or at least, for this particular case): if you're a female and if you're an Itachi fangirl, then you're that mysterious, deceased lover of his.

It's like Kishimoto puts you into the story without really naming "you." He doesn't name the girl on purpose because you're that girl ~~if you want to be~~.

We all know there are Itachi lovers out there ~~and I'm no exception tee-hee~~~

Write your own ending.

And again, this is all based solely on my opinion...
