What Happens After Sasuke?

(Pardon me if there's already a thread on this subject; I'm quite new here.)

Let's face it: The Sasuke plot has to end sooner or later. Even though Kishimoto will milk it for all its worth, I can't imagine him dragging this out for more than another year. When it finally comes to an end, will the story continue? Or will it come to a permanent end?

If Sasuke lives and somehow is allowed to return to Konoha, how would things function? Would the villagers and other ninja welcome him back? What kind of new villain could Kishimoto cook up that would create the same drama and thrill as the Sasuke soap opera?

Conversely, if he dies somehow, how would the characters react? How would his death affect their lives?

I'm looking forward to everyone's thoughts on this topic.

Sasuke returning to Konoha: I don't see the villagers welcoming him warmly. His criminal status will have him being chased by the others, and I don't see the other nations being chill with an international criminal residing in one of the strongest villages. I don't think Kishimoto would have to cook up another villain because of some things he said in the latest interview, and there's always Madara or Kabuto.

I understand your logic, though part of me is still in that silly hopeful stage. I can't help but hope that it will all turn out perfectly and things will go right back to the way they should be . . . at least where Sasuke is involved.

Aaah, Kabuto. I've been missing him, actually. The minute he gained the ability to become a legitimate ninja, he got chopped right out of the story.

WELL AFTER SASUKE FINALLY KILL HIS BROTHER AND FOUND AN TWISTED STORY OF HIS CLAN BY MANDARA.
