Romantic feelings? i thought this was just about who would be a good team member for him? I think the best would be (if not dead) Kisami because kisami is a close combat fighter and Sasori.. well, he's a far distance fighter.

Sakura. SasoSaku is awesome when done correctly.

Why? Sasori actually started to respect Sakura, albeit grudgingly, before his death. Without that respect he wouldn't have told Sakura where to meet his spy and there would not have been a Sasuke reunion at all. By doing so he actually credited her with playing a role in killing him, something that greatly surprised me, considering she's a "little girl."

Interesting tidbit. Sasori had been a puppet for 20 years, but his body was technically 15, the same age as Sakura at that time.

I've said it before, but respect is pivotal in the world of shinobi, it creates an understanding even between enemies. Sasori's respect is not something that can easily be gained, he did not even respect his own partner, who's a fellow artist. Yet Sakura gained it. It's also interesting how he acknowledged her strengths as a medic nin and fighter more than almost any character in the series (barring Naruto of course). He mostly did so in his own mind, but he did acknowledge her to her face once (before he unbuttoned his cloak lol).

By no means do I think any part of the fight was a SasoSaku moment, what I argue is that this respect that he gained could have served as a foundation in SasoSaku development (had he lived and also been human, like if Chiyo used her jutsu on him as originally intended). Though admittedly I wouldn't want that because then Gaara would have had to die, and that's HORRIBLE.

Some fans also think that if he somehow lived, he'd want revenge against her. Why? He WANTED to die, he chose not to avoid Chiyo's last attack.... why would he want revenge? That makes absolutely no sense, people.

Oi... as for SasoDei, let's look at things this way. Deidara respected his art, but Sasori didn't respect his. Deidara is very arrogant about his art, so that wouldn't sit well with him. His respect almost proves that he's more mature than Sasori. Let's be rational, this isn't opposites attract, this is a clash of an artist's lifestyle: something that takes passion and dedication. There could be no relationship there. Perhaps in another world they could've been good friends, but not enough to be lovers.

lol......... where is there any evidence about him being gay? Heheheh..

~sighs~ One more thing. "Sasori my man" is the english dub, not Kishimoto's work. He never says that in the manga. Besides, I have known guys to say "my man" or "mah man" when referring to their friends, and there's nothing sexual about it. My guess is that the dubbers did it to try and make him sound "cool" and "blase." Though I say it was an epic failure... -_-
