We actually decided that you can do other battles other than naruto because that gets redundant and boring.

Anyway, there probably going to split the battlegrounds, just because of this eventually.

We all patched in a major vote in which we should keep this Naruto-Only or Not, in we chose the latter, because doing battles with only the same Naruto characters tend to get a tad dull.

Most Naruto only battles are really predictable these days, most of the good matches have already been done, and we mods have decided that until the battleground is split, it is okay to have matches besides Naruto.

Well, C-Hook also proposed that we split the Battle Grounds, and Srhyse seemed to agree and even come up with an alternative.

Bit the thing is, it was meant for debating. If you only did Naruto battles, most would have already been done, and they would be easy to debate. Matches between other universes, such as the Sonic VS Naruto (I think it was) give rise to the best debates. Naruto debating often comes down to "Madara can't be hit because of Intangibility," "(Character) doesn't have enough feats to win," or "(Character) massive speedblitzes". Without debates from other universes, the Battlegrounds wouldn't be half as active as they are. Moving them to off-topic, they would be buried between over 2,000 threads, more than half of which are completely useless chat threads.

I wasn't referring to something like Naruto vs. Sonic, I meant ones that don't have any Naruto characters at all.
