I think users should be able to disable thier own rep, meaning that no one can rep them and see their rep. Also there should be an option where you can hide your rep if you want to.

I don't get the first thing,but there's already an option for hiding rep.

UCP --> Edit Options --> Below invisible mode is a "show your reputation" box.

As to the others, not possible at the moment, but I suppose hiding your rep is almost as good as noone but an admin can judge yor rep. Course you would still get the up and down reps in your ucp....

Rep is like post count, it shouldn't be hidden at all. Nor should a user not have the option of choosing not to be repped imo.

wait so what you're saying is if some newbie comes in a thread with a really good idea but thier rep is really bad you wont rep them up just because of the mere fact that thier rep is low ouch Toma thats harsh

Thats not what he is saying at all. He is saying that some users have a tendency to multipost and spam or insult. And these people get downrepped as a result. When people have low or red box rep, it serves as a warning of what that person's habits are. If they come up with a good post, helpful, insightful, or just plain hilarious, there is no reason why they wouldnt receive an uprep from a reader who'd uprep anyone else for posting the same thing.
