Sweet, Jiraiya SM, Deidara with C2 and Pain, you can't ask for more. And just a question, will Sasuke with Kirin and Itachi with Susano'o make it into the game? Or will the game stop at when Pain killed Jiraiya?

I don't think it'll go up to the Sasuke vs Itachi Arc, they won't have time to make it since it ends near the release date.

about Pein confirmed: i saw a picture, it looks like 3 characters each being 2 paths
about Sasuke vs Itachi, i think it might go that far, after all it's not that far from when Jiraiya and Pein fought, and even then, the UN series didn't really do a good job keeping its mouth shut about other spoilers: Shikamaru had his Shadow Strangle in the very first game! so y couldn't they give Sasuke his Kirin and Itachi Susanoo

Updated (Sorry I'm a little late), Konan is confirmed and there will be only Deva, Animal and Asura Path as playable characters, the other 3 Pains will be support characters.
Heres how you do it: You control 1 of the 3 Pains. The Pain you control uses a subordinate Pain to attack, while being able to attack as well. Kind of like how Naruto uses his clones to fight.

Its something like this. There are 3 playable pain bodies the rest are in like ougis. When you like choose any of the paths out of the 3 playable ones you get to USE HIS POWER and the other 2 will also help you attack or defend the opponent. If there were 6 ppl at once I can safely assure no one can win pain.
