hiruzen would win either way during prime and even old I mean common he defeated orochimaru in his olkd age I am sure he can beat tsuande.

Honestly I think Tsunade could beat Old Hiruzen, most of his attacks can be recovered from, and the best Hiruzen can hope for is a tie with Reaper Death Seal, maybe even still a loss with his old age.

Hiruzen did not defeat Orochimaru, if anything he tied with him and besides that, Orochimaru still survived the battle while Hiruzen died, so technically Orochimaru won.

Hmmm....Let's look at everything.
Hiruzen's got superior ninjutsu. Tsunade might narrowly avoid dragon flame bombs, but I don't think she'll be able to retaliate quickly enough. If you throw in Mud river, Tsunade's incapacitated. Her mitotic regeneration might help her recover from the damage. Shuriken shadow clone...also not pleasant.
I think Tsunade's fists > Monkey Staff. He may use the staff to keep her at bay, but I think, eventually, she'll land a good hit on Hiruzen.
....I'm really not sure.
If Hiruzen can keep her at a good distance, he wins.
If not, Tsunade wins.

Mud River is anime only, that can't be used.

Tsunade can most likely tank or heal from the majority of Hiruzen's techniques. Or the intelligent thing, she can dodge the way she was trained to.
