Separation doesn't take long at all, he can separate fast enough to not get hit by a kunai or to blow it away. Seperating gives Kakuzu a strain. After he does, he takes time to groan and restitch his back. Seriously, a kunai can't get to him? :/ IIRC Minato was able to save Kakashi when the enemy was about to attack him, and he saved him while the enemy landed only a scratch, yet he can't get him while he seperates and restitches?

Minato can't FTG near the hearts if Wind Element is out to blow the Kunai away. Dude. your overestimating the speed of performing the jutsus, and the hearts don't have zomg superspeed reaction speed. Seriously, a kunai will bound to get him, and he cant spam wind jutsus EVERY kunai he throws.If Minato does get close the only jutsu he has that can potentially hurt Kakuzu is Rasengan and that takes time to make and since it can't penetrate the Iron Skin it doesn't really do much. Okay, it probably wont' take forever to form, and your assuming Kakuzu has Iron Skin while Minato forms it. Also I believe Iron Skin adds a color to Kakuzu's skin, so minato isn't stupid enough to destroy him while he has it.

Again, he can't FTG out of it if Kakuzu can blow it away with Wind heart. Really? You're assuming Kakuzu can blow it away EVERY time with the wind heart, when your not thinking that it does probably take time to form and he has limited chakra. Honestly, you expect Kakuzu to blow away every kunai Minato gives?Kakuzu can have his threads go and have the element do it's jutsu very fast.

Why does it seem like you keep thinking Kakuzu can spam a million wind jutsus without any chakra? Even if he does blow it away, I'm sure Minato would figure it out and not throw it towards the Wind heart. I think Minato has potential to dodge a few attacks, long enough to figure out he's deadly and summon Gamabunta. yes i know that takes time, but FTGing away from Kakuzu is an option.
