Not really elite. Rather that some people with responsibilities gets additional tools to make sure they can uphold them.

would you rather everyone were given moderator powers? and could edit everything you said?

Some degree of segregation always happens, but the reasoning for it is key. In this case it is to promote quick and fair moderation, as well as utilizing a tool for the war council to get the war system together.

It is a simple matter of CAN'T over WONT at this point. the chatbox could not work with a large userbase, but it can help the small group of us who donate our time here to keep the boards moderated.

lighten up gents i was only having a laugh. obviously i see the need for it to be restricted, and the usefulness. A chat would ruin the forums if open to the public.
