Biography

Yamato is a member of Konha's Anbu, and a younger peer of Kakashi. He is also the temporary leader of Kakashi's team, and one of the main protagonists of the series. "Yamato" is actually a codename given to him by Tsunade for the purposes of joining Team 7, his real name being Tenzo. Yamato, however, seems to prefer going by his codename while near his teammates, although Kakashi still calls him Tenzo.

Out of 60 babies that were injected with the 1st Hokage's cells, only Yamato survived. Orochimaru was trying to recreate someone with Hashirama Senju's cells.

Although Yamato has the unique cells, he himself notes that his Mokuton is not as strong as the Shodaime's.
Yamato's Mokuton has a huge variety of uses. He mainly uses it for battle, offensive and defensive. Mokuton can also be used for other uses such as building houses, boats, submarines, and furniture.
Yamato could also supress tailed beasts. That's why he was chosen as captain for Team Kakashi.

-Yamato's favorite food are walnuts, while his least favorites are any food that is oily.
-Yamato likes to read books about architecture.
-A running gag of him is that others attack Yamato while he is sleeping. He usually has to use Mokuton: Wood Locking Wall to barracade himself. Also, people overwork him because of the wide variety wood is used for.
-Yamato enjoys Naruto by his fear-face, or better known as his ghoul eye stare.

I believe Yamato also deserves credit by having his own fanpage too~! I just love Yamato... I love his personality. Love everything about him. He is an awesome ANBU and captain. It's funny how he scares Naruto with his flashlight and face... heheh...It was a shook to see him use mokuton, like the 1st Hokage. It was nuts how he was abducted when he was a baby by Orochimaru and how he survived the experiment. But thanks to that, he has the 1st's DNA. And his birthday is August 10th. I wish the Naruto site could make a new wallpaper.....
