You know its kind of funny look at Naruto and Sasuke

Naruto-should have been loved because his father was Hokage, but because of the Nine Tails, he was hated throughout his childhood, a loserly ninja, but worked hard and became strong and made friends.

Sasuke—Actually should not have been important cause Itachi was the first born and would always do more than Sasuke. Been then Itachi left and Sasuke was the star Uchiha. He started out as a prodigy, awesome, cool, everyone loved him, but he never really cared about it, just about killing his brother and slowly he declined and fell from being the favorite.

Naruto is kind of like the poor kid who works hard to become rich, Sasuke is like the rich kid who wastes all his money and gets into drugs and crime. So they started out in opposite ways, the same paths, but different directions.

I think that Sasuke will be redeemed, but (as cliche as it may be) it will be in a final act or dying breath.

I don't think Sakura has given up on Sasuke... Naruto DEFINITELY hasn't, as we all know. It does seem pretty bad at the moment, with all the kage fighting and new powers going on, but as the nine tailed fox himself said he saw a chakra within Sasuke more evil than its own, and I think there was some strong foreshadowing going on there, in reference to the future plot of this and all other fights to come... I mean at first Sasuke still had that sense of a Konoha ninja, like he didn't kill other ninja or people unless his team had to in order to survive... but now, it seems he's recklessly throwing his own team out in front of some of the strongest ninja to currently ever walk the Naruto earth... thus, the kages themselves...
Still, I don't think Sasuke has completely lost it. I believe there is hope for him, especially with Naruto on his side. As Itachi Uchiha himself also said to Naruto; "Sasuke is still pure, but can be easily painted" - This coming from Itachi, who knows and predicts Sasuke far better than anyone else, I believe he knew that it was going to come down to this (the gift he gave to Naruto) and whatever it was, he entrusted it to Naruto as he is the most dedicated to protecting Konoha and the most likely to change Sasuke than anyone else...

dude... it's harder to predict than giving a monkey a rail gun...

...oh, and yea if Sasuke didn't end up staying alive... I will ALSO fly over to Japan and give Kishi a piece of my mind... in a nice way of course though...

2. So what? Itachi also was an akatsuki member.

3. Again he did not kill any kage yet. Moreover when Karin found Danzo he immediately went to catch him. Right now it is the Kage's who are constantly attaking Sasuke.

4. Chakara's structure is irrelevant.

5. That doesn't mean anything. His predictions about himself is not meaningful. Also he listened to Gaara that's sth.

6. That can change once Naruto joins tha action.

7. The same as kages, doesn't mean there is no hope for him.


If there will be enlightenment for Sasuke we will see him coming very very close to turn to the dark side. Only in those times comes the change.

At the moment I feel that Sasuke could still be saved as Naruto managed to change Gaara from a cold blooded psycho killer into someone who is willing to die for his friends and even sheds a tear for someone like Sasuke who had EVERYTHING going for him and threw it all back in his 'friends' faces.

However if he does anything to harm Gaara then I say the faster he dies the happier I will be because to me hurting Gaara will make him scum of the highest order who doesn't deserve to be saved

Rep from me as well for this excellent post that thoughtfully details the reasons I put forth in anothe thread why Gaara and Naruto are alike and not not Gaara and Sasuke as was reported...oh and why Sasuke is a jerk because everyone tried to be there for them from the beginning and he just threw it back in their faces whereas Naruto and Gaara both had to grow up being hated and despised by everyone just for being alive and have had to fight their whole lives to even be acknowledged as real people with real feelings

1. There is no action yet. To think of doing something is NOT equivalent to actually doing it.

2. That's your interpretation moreover Itachi planned it so perfectly till the moment he died that I don't think he could have failed to see the probability that madara may effect Sasuke. There will be more to that ...

3. Samurai attacked Sasuke first, to kill him, wtihout questioning. They were not some innocent people or mind washed weaklings so killing them is not pure evil.
Raikage's arm is Raikage's fault, he sacrificed his arm to hit Sasuke. Moreover Raikage is an idiot who is incapable of controlling his anger or making rational judgements.

No you are not seeing the whole story. You are discarding all the things he said and looking only one side of the story.

Sasuke's whole clan and family was killed when he was very little. To make things worse it was his brother. And his brother told him this happened because he was not strong enough. He was not only an orphan like Naruto he also witnessed all those things.

Naruto was hated blah blah ... that's plain nonesense. Naruto was cared for, he always had silent guardians. He may not be liked but he was never harrassed by the people of the village or he was left to starve. He was given the opportunity to study to become a ninja.

Naruto was NOT treated like a monster he was not your average orphan. He was not forced to work like a slave, beaten by people etc. You people make it seem like Naruto had the worst in life while if you don't count living without his parents he had quite a smooth life.

So girls are attracted to Sasuke. That is Not real friendship. Real friendship is a much stronger bound, it needs time and effort to develop. In that aspect Naruto is probably his only friend.

Respect!!! Both made countless battles, Naruto earned respect while Sasuke was instantly declared as the worst enemy. The stupid thing was some of those people who declared him as a villian did much worse things.

You must understand what Naruto is going through also. Did I not say that Sasuke could have easily had as many friends who would look out for him from the beginning but he CHOSE to isolate himself from the whole village due to his crave for revenge I'm not saying that his life was a walk in the park but at the same time at one point in his life he was happy with a loving family and all. I do agree that having all of that taken away from him in an instant is tragic but he still has his memories of his mother and father and the good times he had with them. Naruto will never know that kind of happiness. I do see that he will not know the pain of having them taken away but he can't sit around with Sasuke or anyone else and reminisce about his past with his family. Yeah Naruto had hidden guardians but don't you think that Sasuke does too. I don't believe that Kishi put anywhere in the story that Sasuke had a couple of dead end jobs trying to pay for his bills and put food on the table. And Naruto was indeed harassed by the village people. If you watched Naruto from the very beginning to present then you would know.
