I'm not really excited about ODST, all I'm excited about is playing me some Midship (Heretic).

I got ODST today. I have to say, it is really awesome. Firefight is really amazing. I have only played the campaign through the first flashback and it is really fun so far.

I love the new maps too. You start with Plasma Grenades on Heretic, just like on Midship in Halo 2. It is soooooooo much fun. I already found the skull on Longshore and I got the sword spree achievement on Heretic.

I agree. Although the Rookie's part in campaign gets a bit repetitive. I went for Vidmaster: Endure, the achievement, and made it to Set 3 Round 3 Wave 5 and then died. I'm going to try again later.

I played through another flashback. The one with the Warthog/vehicle mission.

I talked to a friend who had played through the campaign. He was nice and didn't spoil for me, but he said it was really good.
