Would you live forever

When I was younger I thought that immortality was the best. Yea I would be sad at seeing loved ones go but I could see new things and experience the world over and over again. Now that I've gotten older, my choice is definitely different. I enjoy the company of my friends and family as much as we may argue and fight, they are still the ones I would die for without thinking twice. It may sound cliche but to lose my lover, the mother of my children...that in itself is just too much. They say time heals all...but I live with that for all eternity, the fact i will not see her even in the afterlife.....I choose a mortal life...
