One excellent man can provide support, romance, and deep friendship.

but on the next statements...how would you feel if your woman has a lover? that's just basically how we feel. and we make a fuss about it cause society seems to tolerate men having a mistress but condemn a woman who has a lover. that's double standard! and hey women might be treated better at first but in the end we always loose.

To have one man fill all these positions in a woman's life would be ideal, however it's not something that you'll find easy. Most men will struggle to fit all three because there's a different mind set to each one. So the real question here is about if that sort of thing would be acceptable. I mean why choose one or two items when you could have a whole buffet?

I'm not even ganna touch the gender line differences here. I came up in a place where this very concept without even doing it would of made a woman a wh*** in most people's eyes and yet for men... Well yeah...

hmm.. a gay man? anyways. i think with me and my girlfriend i'm a b and c (not gay) but.. in any instance you need to have a good friendship in a relationship. friends don't hurt friends.. MY grandmother told me that if you try to be nice to your 'wife, girlfriend' then they will want to be nice to you too.. if they don't, then you don't need to waste your time with them. Getting along living together is an easy thing to do if you just try to stay friends'. Of course if you love someone your going to want to take care of them.. and love is always there for me. i dont know if i'm lucky because i watied for someone like her to come along before i started 'wasting' my love on people that wouldn't appreciate me the way i should or not.. but YES. love is the #1 reason why relationships end (i think). once loves gone then you should explain to your significant other you feel this way. becasue maybe they don't notice it! .. communication is all it ever takes to fix things (most of the time)

A husband, a lover, and a friend should all be the same man. That's all I have to say about this.
