That's why we are a democratic republic. We elect people (state and city level) who elect people (the electoral college) who elect the president.

The electoral college is picked by the House.

The system is set up to where we dont control who becomes the Representatives. The officials in the House are mainly chosen by already current politicians. How am I supposed to prevent the Governor of a different state, and a mayor from Alabama, from voting this person in?

BTW gay people are not a race, they are choices. I am not against gay people or bi people but they are not a race. Tho if they do get rights like other minorities then cool, but they should not be taken priority over other more important stuff.

They might have enjoyed America because they did not yet know a better one. That's what my Grandfather said; he's going on 70.

I never said I knew you. I don't need to know who you are to know that you were being a jerk to her.

I never said gay people were a race. I was just trying to point out that some are not as free as others; that was the fallacy in my prior comment.

Try harder. Your attempt to antagonize me is disapointing. I was expecting better. I don't have any problems with the topic. I continue to enjoy it as you read this.

We have a monarchy! We just call it a presidency! Instead of a House of Lords or a House of Commons we have a Senate and a House of Representatives.
