Chapter Twenty-Five: Four Days Until the Meeting of the Kages


"Nui, watch over everyone." Senso muttered, grasping on his lance's handle. He then glanced down once more, and was not surprised at all to see it drenched in blood. "Where are you going, Senso?" Nui asked, his eyes darting from every inch of the area.
Senso managed a small but rare nowadays smile, one that showed in the light brought off from the orb in Nui's hand. "Me? I'm going hunting, haven't you heard? It's wolf hunting season."

Sakura Helga stood on the rooftop of a large house, gazing at the Crossroads and the skyscrapers and buildings within it. The house was a post two kilometers off of the Crossroads, and guards inhabited it, all now dead, as Sakura suddenly heard a sound. She slowly turned her head, barely glancing at the source. Kama stood, his scythe lazily hung on his back, blood dripping from it and hitting the earth.
Blood was on his face, and his clothes were dry, but now a little red-colored. "I see you have enjoyed your killing spree." Sakura Helga said, and leaped down toward Kama. She landed gracefully on the ground, and stood up, smiling as she looked behind him, seeing all twenty-three guards housing the guard post, all dead, their bloods pouring into and mixing with the dirt on the ground.

Senso was gone, and it had been ten minutes since they had departed. Senso had given Nui a map to lead him and his group to their destination, but unfortunately, an accident involving a comment from Menrui and a fight breaking up between Toshi and him had ended up with Menrui with some bruises and half a map, the other part buried under boulders. Surprisingly, the fight did not cause the Underground to collapse, but Nui wasn't going to take chances.
After walking through the same dull halls, there was the reaching dread clawing its way into Nui's mind as he feared of his childhood friend's possible death. There were occasional sounds of weapons being clattered against each other and shouts, and with each of those shouts, he grasped his sword more heavily and heavily, hoping the best that his friend would make it out alive of whatever ordeal he was going through right now.
