Characters personalities don't really need to have a point. That's just how Kishi decided to make him, imo.

Haku was supposed to be a girl but they thought parents would think it was odd if a 15 year old girl was travelling with a 27 year old guy so they had to change the gender but they didn't change his/her character style so... Yeah.

I still think Haku is a girl

It is the same with a few other males within the storyline, they always tend to be feminish, for example, Yashamaru, he's a male but tends to get confused for a female aswell, Ranmaru is another that looks feminish, even his voice seemed too soft for a males, so Haku is one of the first that has come into the series quite feminish, Deidara and Sasuke are a couple of others too that have a some what female look at times. It mostly tends to be those whose characters that were some what last minute changes, done to them.

I agree. Haku was always so weird to me because of how he acted.

Its normal in Japanese manga when you get confused by the character's gender. In fact, Haku isnt the only guy who looks feminine (we also have Yashamaru, Deidara, Benten, Ranmaru, Yuukimaru, etc). Its not reasonable to think that much of characters were changed in the last minutes, moreover, abt Haku, its very common now that feminine boys dress like girls altho they're straight.

It's a typical Japanese tick with traps.

Haku from Naruto.

Naoto Shirogane from Persona 4.

Bridget from Guilty Gear:

Heck even Bleach's Yukio is tough to define.
Anyone saying he is a Boy is just speculation.

Fact is:
Japanese are just like that.

Yep he is.

His Family raised him as a Girl cause in the village he was born in Twins with the same Gender were considered bad luck.

Haku- This closest Kishi can possibly come to creating a strong female character.
