Whenever I click on the arrow next to a quoted text that directs me to the appropriate post, it opens up a new tab as if I'm right clicking the image and clicking Open Image in New Tab.

Obviously, this is not intended behaviour and this only happens on this site: it doesn't happen elsewhere.

Example:
Click the arrow button next to Originally Posted by Shikamaru Nara in the quote box of this post.

Actually, it is the intended behavior based on the coding of these forums. We are all subject to it, not just you.
