There is still the fact that she is just standing off on the side and the path of the lines is clearly indicating it was from Asuma. They would have to emanate from her position if the fan did that, which it didn't.

Plus, how would she have the chakra to use it?

Apparently we all have to eat crow right now because someone (whose name I happen to forget right now) actually predicted Tenten would find the Banana Fan, and not only that, but that Tenten would defeat Kakuzu. Quite amazing prediction skills.

This was a great chapter, with some touching flashbacks, good action, and intense moments. Asuma called Choji a fatass (a fatass) and Choji did nothing. I was amazed. Nothing's ever made Choji more angry than being called fat, yet even when Asuma is dead and tells him off on it Choji can't bring himself to hit Asuma.

This chapter gives a better idea how far back the relationship between the Nara, Akimichi, and Yamanaka clans goes, and it gives more depth to the relationship between Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji. I also love the butterfly metaphor used for the Akimichi clan, and I thought it was fantastic that Choji managed to activate his butterfly wings without even taking a single pill. That really made the chapter for me.

Did anyone notice that in Shikamaru's flashback, Asuma mentioned two unborn children who would grow up to lead Konoha? He only stated his own child as one.
