Naruto Tier List - Group Debate
 

So I want everyone in on this. We should make a new tier list up to date with the manga, based not on personal opinion but the overall judgement of the users. Whatever characters get the most support will make the new tier lists.

Tiers as follows.

Conditions: For this particular list, characters have prep and are at full power in order to keep them in one placement. Otherwise, this list goes by Default battleground rules.

Start with Low Tier and work our way up. Someone can start by suggesting a general layout of Low Tier's character, and we all can nitpick and decide what makes that tier and who's too tough for it.

Do Edo Tensei's count for themselves or will they only be part of Kabuto?

Well, if the Edo Tensei count for Kabuto, then Kabuto should definitely be Top Tier. Along with Danzo, Madara, Pain, Naruto, and Sasuke. Probably Jiraiya also.

I've been saying this for a very long time. For at least a year I've had it in my opinion that a tier list should always be based on popular opinion. The only reason I haven't made a Naruto tier list in the MVBG based on popular opinion is because the Naruto page was locked because other people would edit it to base it on personal opinion. Although I was always too lazy just to make a thread.

Anyways, as I've stated in other threads, all the people Kabuto's summoned should technically be considered his equipment since he prepared them pre-fight. Thus he's the top tier.

Well, since it is Kabuto's Technique, wouldn't the Edo Tensei Zombies be considered as Ninja Tools, like the Six Paths of Pain?

Pretty much. Kabuto stores them like a normal person would store any ordinary weapons before combat, so why shouldn't they be considered part of his weaponry? Although the BG defaults states all characters are at their most recent abilities, so Kabuto can't use Sasori or Shin. As the series progresses Kabuto can only become weaker by the BG's standards, disregarding the fact that he has an unknown jutsu.

Madara should be above Pain. Madara has soul suck now in addition to Izanagi and intangibility. He could suck out the souls of all the paths of Pain while Izanagi was in use.

Naruto over Sasuke is debatable, and Itachi over either of them is just as debatable.

Kabuto still can't beat neither Naruto or Sasuke based on feats.

Pain that is debatable seeing as Naruto speed increase.

Madara should be up higher due to having both the powers of Nagato and his sharigan.

Itachi I know longer see him beating Sasuke. But will defeat Naruto due to genjutsu. Though it is further debatable that Naruto genjutsu dispelling tech has improved due to sage and demon energy control.

Bee should be above A definetely.

Edo tensei requires massive prep and really if he were to start with no prep and facing someone like Naruto in sage or demon mode he would get blitzed. Then there is the issue his zombies wouldn't care if he was killed.

Couple questions...

Should we still keep the Edo Tensei rule? Why not just have the characters living and in their most able forms, cause a lot of people would be much weaker without zombie hax :/

Are we including Part 1 characters, and will this be hype, feats, or a mix of both?

The soul determines the character. Edo Tenseis are Haku and Zabuza and whoever else. Different body same soul. Same deal for Orochimaru.

Do Orochimaru's feats suddenly not count because they weren't performed in his original body? The only reason he's in a different body is because of a ninjutsu. Edo Tensei = character.

At the risk of being labeled as a Fascist, does that mean we can have match ups between humans and puppets? There is not much difference between and ETZ and a puppet.
We all saw in the last chapter that the ETZ would prefer not being what they are. Kabuto is forcing the souls to do his dirty work and without Kabuto the ETZs dont/wont exist.
There is also the minor issue of battles turning into stomps and there not being too many non-ETZ dead guys left in Narutoverse. This rule will simply kill the battles.
