Disney xd is cancelling Naruto Shippuden
 

Yup their a rumor going around that Disney will be ending Naruto shippuden this year if you go on FB and put in "Boycott of Disney for canceling Naruto" you will see the FB that tell you more about it

The reason for the cancelling Naruto Shippuden is unknown at time.

Why is noone seemingly wanting to broadcast it in the US if I may ask?
Everything is fine here on RTL 2.Naruto is on for years.

Is it anime in general or just Shippuden? If it's just Shippuden then it might have something to do with Sage of Six Paths cloak. I'm just guessing on this, so I have no facts on this matter. But I also live in the Bible Belt and while I can't get DXD to have seen how far it's gotten, if someone at Disney was bothered by what was on that cloak, it might have given them the reason to pull it. The first time I saw the cloak I noticed the upside down 666 on each side of it. It could also be they don't want to edit it anymore and don't want to show it otherwise.

Again, I have no facts that Disney would pull it for either of those reasons. I just know where I live there are a lot of people who are sensitive toward things of that nature and Disney might be thinking of those they associate with and their viewers.


I am someone who had to turn to watching anime online. Cartoon Network was the only channel at one time I could count on to show anime late night. But after a while they were just all repeats if they showed any at all it seemed.

I could see how that would cause them concern as an upcoming arc :)

I suppose in my case not seeing on TV is okay. Once I got used to the subtitled anime I wasn't able to enjoy dubbed anymore.

I have a FB and I typed what you said trouble and i got no results so I don't think you're right and it's just a rumor no need to over-react until viz or disney say it's over for NS

i didnt find anything on Facebook, but I think that XD will cancel Naruto soon. Its just not kid-friendly. stop trying to make it something its not.

I should think that as long as Shippudden has an audience base, it'll be fine.
