Hi i love the game but i suck i can beat the com on super hard but i never win at online`#(`~( do u have any tips and is anyone willing to plz help?

Pick a character that has a moveset and speed you like, practice and get to know their attacks.

Pay attention to yours and your opponents supports and when they're up.

Try to use supports a lot to get the gauge up. If you need to, save a defensive support, like Pain or Neji for when you get rushed

Try playing people in player matches instead of ranked matches online because ranked matches is where all the spammers are. I win 3/4 of my fights in online player matches, but I can barely win in ranked cuz everybody there is a spammer.

honestly just play smart and know your character.

Know your character and have a general idea about your opponents character. Like, be careful against Kirin sasuke...or be wary of Amaterasu spammers when awakening Sasuke Taka...or be aware that The fourth grabs slow, but has good distance.

Play a bunch of player matches...I usually play a couple of serious characters, then try out some new ones.

When it comes to ranked, try and figure out your opponents play style...theres ways to beat everything...Don't be afraid to do something that you may consider "cheap", like keeping distance.

FINALLY: In ranked....never pick your character right off the bat...wait until the last second to avoid your opponent picking bad match-ups.

1. Learn how to counter spammers. The main ones are projectile spammers and jutsu spammers. (Deidara, temari, tentenen), (Minato, naruto, itachi etc.)
2. Learn how to get your team gauge up as fast as possible to abuse team jutsu
3. Learn how to counter awakenings. (If someone picks itachi, never let him awaken, and if he does, save up your supports so you can use them on him while running)
4. Watch your opponent's chakra, and support. If there is a rare situation where they have no chakra and supports are down, you can pretty much win by hitting B. (360)
5. Pick a character that is different, don't go with sage naruto or deidara or whatever. I'm not trying to tell you who to play, but i think it's best that you learn someone people are unfamiliar with. Kakashi is extremely good, for example. I have used him against spammers and they aren't used to his fast ultimate jutsu and i have completely dominated them.

This might sound a little stupid to you, but learn how to KnJ (substitute) and just jump around throwing projectiles until your opponent screws up. Keep a cool head and don't get to close, not even if there's 10 seconds on the clock and your almost dead from time running out. Ina lot of cases your opponent might get cocky and underestimate you, use it to your advantage. Maybe have pain as a support. I'm not the best but at least when i loose it's never because i lost all health but to time.

I'm quite bad as well I'd say you should just keep at it and see what works for you. I'm trying to find out what to do against specific characters that own me though. (Minato, Naruto, etc.)
