Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
I'm surprised that there isn't already a discussion thread about this masterpiece of a manga. If you like Shounen I suggest you read this, you won't regret it.
You'll get hooked by the end of chapter 1. |
Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
is there an anime of it or just a manga ?

Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
I'm surprised at the fact that very few posts have been made in this topic.
JJBA is, in my opinion, the best manga. Part 1 was awesome, Part 2 brought a lot of interesting intellectual factors into battle, and Part 3 was filled with a lot of intense battles and I remember encounters such as the ones with both D'arby's. Part 4 I didn't like as much, but it had Kira, who was an awesome villain. Part 5 was pretty interesting, started off slow but then it had interesting fights. Still haven't finished Part 6, but I'm not sure how much I like it. |
Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Part 1 had some pretty original ideas like the whole ripple effect thing.
Part 2 was just bleh to me, seemed a bit to bland. Part 3 is when the whole series started kicking in rather well. This is when Araki's imagination start's to finally kick in rather well. Part 4 to me is the best part in the series, the main villain was awesome, the protagonist and the support characters was actually really likable. Its probably the most humorous part in the series. The only complaint I had was that Jotaro's stand for some odd reason looked like a complete weakling in this series and the scans were just horrible and didn't do justice to it at all. Part 5 was pretty bland as well. The villain was to darn cliched, the characters are a lot more boring than usual and they all have sad childhood past which kinda killed it for me. The stand powers in this part are extremely well thought of and the fights were amazing but some were a bit to ridiculous for me to follow. I mean mista using his whole body blood thing to destroy white album's armor was just wow and very nonsensical. Part 6 crappy ending, is all I have to say. Steel Ball Run: Simply amazing. A lot more gorier than any of the jojo's bizarre adventure series, but it's (to me) the best. The art style as well it a lot better and easier to follow along as well. To bad its not finished yet. Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
People need to read this.
But I bet you its impossible to get a Bleach/KHR fan to read this masterpiece of a manga. |

I personally didn't like Part 4 much, Kira was the only redeeming factor imo because Jotaro was only in it a little bit. I didn't like the protagonists all too much, Josuke wasn't that interesting to me. Part 5 was okay, I thought that it was decent but tried too hard to be like Part 3 all over again. I didn't like Diavolo either, Dio and Kira were a lot better. Still haven't gotten to Part 6 or 7. Quote:
Most likely, I guess this series is too manly for most. |

Muda Muda Muda Muda Muda Muda!
Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora Ora! That's really all I have to say on the matter. Dio Brando > Jesus |
Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Dio+Steamroller=Super uber epic win.
Now if only most people actually read this.... |
Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Dio Brando + Steamroller + Forks = Ultimate Attack
Seriously, though. That guy can make anything a weapon. What I can't understand was why he didn't use Space Ripping Stingy Eyes against anyone after Part 1. That was the best move EVAR. The name is so creative. |
Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Za Warudo was awesome. I could say "The World", but Za Warudo sounds better.
If Dio used SRSE then he would've owned everybody, that would make things too easy with Time Stop. |

Re: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Long overdue the anime for this! also, for the Dreamcast, there was a fighting game released by Capcom, and from what I read back then it seems it was quite good, never played it myself, though

Since this is a big thing in Oreshura, I'm going to start reading this so I can better understand the jokes.
