Sai's weapon?

Okay, I was searching around, and I was looking for what the name Sai's weapon is.

I thought that it was a tantō, but others have been saying that it was a ninjatō. The Naruto wiki says that it is a tantō, but I am sooo confused. :/

sai is drowing animales and things:D and then he use a jutsu to make them alive:eek: so he can use them as a weapon for him later`:) , i do see him do that in sometimes when i watch naruto episodes;)....

Okay? But they are talking about the sword not the jutsu he uses.

Anyway, a tantō is simply a small katana. Several chunin have carried tantō on the rear of the waist, although it is rarely used. The version Root uses are double-edged and have no tip, meant only for cutting. They carry the tantō vertically on the back, behind the shoulder. Sakumo Hatake and Kakashi Hatake in his childhood carried a special tantō, known as the White Light Chakra Sabre.

Yes its sort of is. But its a tantō, a small katana. I have a small katana that just looks like Sai's.
