is konoha the only one with kekkei genkai/ specialization clans?
 

i just noticed this but, konoha has the hyuga, uchiha, aburame, yamanakka, akamechi, and others which all specialize in their own kind of jutsu, the only one we know (or atleast to my memory`:P) that's not from the leaf village and is in the main plot is kimimaru and his clan ( dont know the name off the top of my head-- edit, he is from the kayuga clan, thanks sarutobi17!). and other villages like the sand seem to not do this.. like no one specializes in fans (temari) puppets (kankuro) or things like controling sand (garra, duh!) which could all be good ideas for specialization clans, or even kekkei genkai. am i the only one who noticed this? i guess konoha is the village that we know about in most depth.. but still..`:| what do you think? I WANT YOU *points to camera*`;).

edit: oh and some other kekkei genkai i forgot to mention was the mizukage's, haku's (kuroda also pointed his out) ( i just forgot his was a kekkei genkai), dauri's storm release, and the tshuchikage's dust release (another save by sarutobi17) but im talking about like people we know from the different clans.. like how we know shikimaru and skukaku (not 1 tail!) or ino and her dad.

the cloud and rock each have a kekkei genkai,the cloud has storm release and the rock has dust release kimimaro's clan is the kaguya clan.the mist has mizukage mei's kekkei genkai,but i have noticed what you are talking about.

i think i remember dust release.. but i thought that was that "assimalation" guy and i thought he was filler. and storm release? i have never heard of that? do you know what chapter it was refrenced/used in? and oh yeah i did forget about mei's kekkei genkai.

Haku had one, he was from the Mist. Mei the Mizukage has 2 KG. THe Tsuchikage has his Dust Release.

storm release is used by darui(might have mispelled his name)but the kage summit is where i think its used he is one of A's bodyguards.the filler character your talking about wasn't storm release one of them had gaara's sand ability although it's a little different.forgot about haku's.

does the tshuchikage use dust release or just refrence it? and when does he do it? ( i did quote kuroda, but i screwed it up while trying to highlight what i was talking about..

onoki uses it i won't say on who but he does use atleast once.he uses it after raikages battle with sasuke.

He uses it when Sasuke attacks the Kage Summit

i don't remember which village i only know it's one of the five great shinobi villages,but one of them has a kg called steel release.it was used in one of the shipuuden movies by a guy named hiruko i think his name was he was a childhood friend of the legendary sannin.

theres more ppl taht have KG. Its not just konoha.

i think you're all taking my use of "only konoha" a little bit too literally, and when i made this thread i was expecting people saying "oh, no so and so has this one, and then so and so has this other one.. so this was my way of remembering them :p. well sorta, i wasn't really thinking that when i made the thread.

The most important reason of konoha being rich in KG is that konoha is the first ever hidden village. It was formed by senju + uchiha alliance by combining the clans they had already defeated. This is the main reason why many konoha clans have KG since konoha got the best possible variety to chose from. The other countries just copied konoha's concept while creating hidden villages but they were not so lucky in terms of choices.

The third kazekage had Iron sand manipulation as KG.

i forgot until now the hidden rock village also has the kamizuru clan the insect clan in the series besides the aburame.
