Naruto MMORPG Ideas!

NARUTO MMORPG IDEAS BY DECKO

First of all, it should be Free 2 Play with the Cash Shop (Item Mall). If they make Pay 2 Play, im gonn be mad. :)
Second, the MMORPG should be created by a professional company, otherwise the Naruto Online MMORPG Game could turn out to be a complete failure.

CHARACTER

CREATE CHARACTER
Fully customizable character creation, in which the player can not only change the type of body the character being created has but also face features skin color, eye color, scars, and other stuff.

**IDEA FROM AION ONLINE AND PERFECT WORLD**


START VILLAGE
The player could start in a any of the Villages from the Naruto Universe.


GROWING NINJA
The players can choose if he wants the character grows up as it levels or stay as a child or start as an adult. Maybe a Cash Shop item that would allow to change later on if chosen to stay as a child.

SYSTEM

GRAPHICS
The graphics can be the same as in Naruo Ultimate Ninja Storm from Playstation 3.


LEVELING
In order for the player to level, he/she has to gain experience through PVE (Player vs Enveironment) or missions.


STATS
After leveling, the player would get a certain amount of stat points which can be distributed on the following categories: STR (Streght), DEX (Dexterity), STA (Stamina) INT (Intelligence).

STR: Increases the player's streght, allowing him to make powerful attacks and receive less damage.
DEX: Increases the player's attack speed and movement speed.
STA: Increases the player's health and chakra.
INT: Increases the player's jutsu learning ability and decreases the jutsu casting time (hand seals).


NINJA RANK
Of course we need to implement the ninja ranks to the Naruto MMORPG since is basically what the players would like to see the most.

ACADEMY STUDENT: Players would start as Academy Students, which would be pretty much a tutorial of the game. You could skip this part with a button and become a Genin immedieatly if you already created a character before and know how the game works.

GENIN: When promoted to Genin, the player unlocks a few jutsu and is allowed to complete certain missions.

CHUNNIN: When promoted to Chunnin, the player unlocks more jutsu and is allowed to more missions. Also the player is now allowed to form a Team (Party).

JONIN: When promoted to Jonin, the player unlocks most of the jutsu and is allow to accept any kind of mission.

ANBU: ANBU could be a special branch of ranks. The player could join ANBU if he/she meets certain requirements and completes a number of missions.

KAGE: No Kages because it would be unfair to players.


PROMOTION EXAMS
In order to be promoted to the next rank, the player must certain amount of missions and complete the promotion exam which would be similar to the Chunnin Exam, but in a MMORPG Quest-Type. Let me explain: The Exam could be like collecting certain items, like the Heaven and Earth Scrolls by getting the scrolls as drop from defeating "mobs" (mobile objects) or maybe a pvp-type exam.


JUTSU POINTS (SKILL POINTS)
Players can customize their characters with the ninja tecniques (jutsu) they desire. In order to add jutsus, the player must gather jutsu points, which he gains by defeating "mobs" or completing certain missions.

**IDEA FROM SILKROAD ONLINE SKILL POINT SYSTEM**


JUTSU CASTING TIME
Jutsu Casting Time is the time needed to cast a jutsu when using Ninjutsu or Genjutsu. A time bar will appear and fill up during the casting time and the jutsu will not happen until the bar fills completely. The jutsu casting time can be considered as the time it takes to make the player make hand seals. The time depends on the jutsu is being casted.

**IDEA FROM WORLD OF WARCRAFT AND AION ONLINE**


JUTSU
TAI: Taijutsu skills do not need hand seals, which makes no need for casting time.
NIN: Ninjutsu skills require casting time in order to complete the hand seals. (SOME MAY NEED SCROLLS)
GEN: Genjutsu skills require casting time in order to complete the hand seals.
SEN: Would not be implemented until further update.


TEAMS (PARTY)
Players can create a team (party) which allow them to gain Experience and Jutsu Points together. As the players gain experience the team (party) also levels. When the team (party) levels, the team gets extra perks, like: increased experience, jutsu point and drop rates. Only Chunnin and above can form a team (party), but any rank player can join.

**IDEA FROM FLY FOR FUN (FLYFF) PARTY SYTEM**


CLAN/GUILD
A clan can be created by anyone when the player reaches a certain level. When the level of the clan increases, the amount of members that can be in the clan/guild also increases. The clan/guild members can get a clan/guild cloak which gives them certain extra stats. Also, the leader can create a clan/guild emblem which can be shown on the clan/guild cloak's back.


VIP PROTECTION MISSION
The players can accept the the VIP PROTECTION MISSION. The mission is pretty much like the mission Team 7 does on the "Land of Waves Arc". Players make a Team (Party) and the leader accepts the mission. The Team must transport and protect the walking NPC to another village. The mission can be easy unless "Missing-Nin Mode" players show up.

(Explanation of Missing-Nin Mode below)

**IDEA FROM SILKROAD ONLINE TRIANGLE JOB CONFLICT SYSTEM**


MISSING-NIN MODE
The player is allowed to change to Missing-Nin Mode, which allows him/her to accept special missions involving: assassinations, vip capture (the counter of the vip protection missions given in village), and others. During this mode, the player is vulnerable to attacks from other players.

**IDEA FROM SILKROAD ONLINE THIEF JOB SYSTEM**


BLOODLINES
The Bloodlines could be added in a later update. Since it would be too complicated considering the balance of the game.

FLAK JACKET: Increases the player's defense and scroll storage capacity. (FOR SCROLLS)
CHAIN MAIL: Increases the player's defense, decreases the player's movement speed.
SHIRT: Increases the player's defense. (LONG SLEEVE, SHORT SLEEVE, COVERED FACE, TURTLE NECK)
PANTS: Increases the player's defense.
GAUNGLETS: Increases the player's defense.
HIP POUCH: Increases the player's item storage capacity. (FOR DROP ITEMS)
MEDICAL POUCH: Increases the player's medical item storage capacity. (FOR MEDICAL ITEMS)
SHURIKEN POUCH: Increases the player's shuriken and kunai storage capacity. (FOR SHURIKEN AND KUNAI ONLY)
FOREHEAD PROTECTOR: Shows the player's ninja village where he/she belongs.
CLOAK: Increases the player's stats. (FOR CLAN)
MASK: Increases the player's stats.


NINJA TOOLS (RESUPPLY NEEDED)
EXPLODING TAGS: Used to attack.
SHURIKEN: Used to attack and certain jutsu.
KUNAI: Used to attack and certain jutsu.
MAKIBISHI: Used for Traps
METAL WIRE: Used for certain shuriken skills and other.
SMOKE BOMBS: Used to escape from "mobs".

Its seems im not the only person with the idea, but i was thinking making it for PS3 and Xbox360. Make it the very first ever MMORPG to ever be placed on a system with many different choices. Ex. Careers, villages, jitsu's etc.

With this you could also put Naruto cash cards in stores for people to buy. There are large amounts of PS3 and XBox fans out there that would love to be able to play sitting on there couch. I really hate sitting on the computer/laptop playing the games. Currently im playing Holy Beast.

If you are going to do this idea don't do a sloppy job, make it the best ever. You can even use the village from Naruto Rise of the Ninja. I actually bought it because i thought it was a MMORPG game where you could see everyone walking around online.

I have a load of ideas on how it should be set up and what exactly you could. it could last long and people could actually play for a very long time than those short games everyone play. Example, Rise of the ninja- was way to short.

I like how yu thought of almost everything. haha the ideas from different popular MMORPGs make it a lot better. And yes, it certainly does have to be made by a professional company, although if its free, the servers would be OD-ed all the time, making the game extremely difficult and frustraiting to play. Otherwise, nice(:

I think it would be great to have a good naruto mmo, and you have some great ideas but imo this mmo would still kinda look like a standard mmo (no offence).

My Ideas:

instead of casting time, let the player combine the seals to perform the jutsu.
more seals means a stronger jutsu. this would mean that the player needs to practice to pull of a strong jutsu. and the player can get interrupted while trying to pull it of so he needs to create a distance between him and the enemy.

At a certain level (and if you have met some other requirements) players will be summoned by the akatsuki and asked to join.
if you become akatsuki, you will be targeted by all other ninjas but will also gain a npc ally and there will be safe zones. you will also get other missions.

this game should be an action game, so no selecting a target and selecting some skills maybe something like the game prototype.

also the movement of the player should be a bit like what you can do in prototype (meaning: moving fast, running on walls etc.)

I seriously dont get why this isnt done yet...

how about jutsu leveling by grinding your jutsu (CABAL).

and the party thing, any ninja except Academy student can make a party but the party members should be within the range of the level of the maker so that they can share experience (Ragnarok)

KAGES - are the Game masters, they have an exceptional powers other than jutsus they can ban people haha

CLAN - the name of the clan will be the surname of your character example your character's name is Sasuke then you joined the clan Uchiha therefore the name that will be displayed is "Uchiha Sasuke" . (so its more advisable to have the clan name to be just one word)

how about this: instead of getting banned (except for hacking (then you will get banned) you get thrown out of the city the first time, this means everyone will hunt you while you still cant do anything against the others (for a certain amount of time).

the second time you break a rule, you will get banned

Seems I'm late with this talk haha.....

With upgrading jutsu, I would think they would upgrade with your level. Branching off into 2 main sections and 3 categories. "Streaming" "Strength" "Projectile" for offensive. "Barrier" "Wall" "Armor" for defensive. But I guess this applies to ninjustu only. Have not thought about genjustu yet.

With taijutsu, the 2 main sections would be external and internal damage of course. "Weapon Specialist" "High Speed" "Brute" of external damage. "Nerve Damage" "Major Organs Damage" "Chakra Damage" for internal damage.

You should only be able to use one element as a genin and chunin. A second element should be available as a jonin, and a third available to the hard working, extremely strong, kakashi type jonin. haha But 3 should be the highest.

To balance Tai, nin, and gen, I think opening chakra gates (for tai only) should have the time spent in that state increased or the side effects decreased. Number of uses should be 1 every 10-15 minutes.

ANBU? no idea for that yet

All these ideas sound so good, it's actually making me really excited but i can't see it happening anytime soon `~(
It would be amazing if this actually happened. Even a simple RPG game would suffice. I don't know why it hasnt happened yet to make a decent RPG/MMORPG , it is the most popular anime in Japan.

Nah jk, I think Naruto games could have a pretty unique fighting system because they have different jutsu, so there wouldn't be characters better than others.

Not a bad idea, but I am sure any game company would have to take everything you said into account regardless, sense in fact, we have such a wide range of MMORPG's out there, and this one is based on Naruto. I am sure any Naruto fan that loves to play naruto games will definately want a legit Naruto MMORPG. And I am currently working on that.

If this were to be a tue MMO you would need a class system such as mages, warrior, rouge, priest, Ect... but in a Naruto version. There also needs to be weapons such as swords and other close range weapons. You should also be able to make a clans cloke a very special item that levels with your character giving appropriate stats for your class. Another idea is to have raids between multiple factions such as the differant villages in the PVP servers. The storyline would be quite inportant too. I usually play MMOs for the storyline. (but I don't think you should post your storyline ideas here. Unless you want them stolen.) i would also make it turn by turn but that's just me. I love turn by turn games.

1 Year and 8 months later, and the thread is still going! Hmm since Naruto Manga since to have its end approaching, maybe the MMORPG is in the works now. :D I hope so. I have been wanting to play this game for a while now! o/
