No he made a mistake. The body was an illusion created by his Shikai, he has never shown his bankai.

what he used to make his dead copy was his shikai

and the Bankai we might just see, if the spoilers are true, we might see Shunsui's

that's what i thought too. because when those espada thought they had killed ulquiorra, aizen collected his body back and it became his sword sooo apparently his shikai's power is that it can create dead bodies??

His shikais power is to create a total hypnosis. Once he shows every1, no one will suspect anything, his sword can create anything he wants, the Aizen even when he was moving was all an illusion cast by his sword.

and that's incredible...i guess all the hype over his shikai is worth it..

Like just in general. At the very start he put them all under hypnosis, so while it looked like he was there talking to every1 and stuff he was never really there, or so i think ^^

are you serious??? that's so epic!! i didn't know aizen rolled like that haha but that really fits his character now. what a cool shikai. and for it to have gone to aizen, of all people... interesting...
